Welcome to the Maryland Accountability Project's Web site!
The Maryland Accountability Project (MAP) is a non-partisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to educating citizens about Maryland's state government and the activities of state public officials and to generally encouraging citizens to participate in the democratic process to hold public officials accountable.
On this Web site, you will find valuable information about Maryland's state legislators. Not sure who your legislator is? Click on "Who is my Representative?" to the left. Interested in how many unexcused absences your legislator has? Click on the "Unexcused Absence Scorecards" at the top left. Interested in whether your legislator is voting conservative or liberal? Click on the "Voting Pattern Scorecards" at the top left.
We have several projects underway for the coming year. If you have additional ideas for research projects for MAP, please let us know. Click on "Contact Us" at the top left.
Thank you for visiting MAP. Come back again soon!
